Best business practices have become very one-dimensional and straight-forward that people are starting to use them as a crutch and getting lazy with how they are marketing their business and acquiring new customers. If you want to get ahead of the competition you need to do things differently than them. The extra effort of doing things that are unscalable like replying to comments, learning popular hashtags, and DM’ing influencers in your industry may be time-consuming, but so few people are actually doing things like that right now that the pay-off would be very beneficial and worth the extra time.
